Evaluation Services
Multi-Disciplinary Developmental Clinic (MDDC) Evaluations
Age range: Children ages 0 – 3 years (Services completed in office)
Evaluators: The team is composed of a Pediatric Psychologist, Pediatric Occupational Therapist, and Pediatric Speech/Language Pathologist
Fee: $2,000 (additional $500 if supplementary testing is required to rule out/diagnose an Autism Spectrum Disorder using the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule- ADOS-2)
Web-based Evaluation for the Early Identification of Autism Spectrum Disorders (WEEI-ASD)
Age range: Children ages 0 – 3 years (Services completed through observation/video conference)
Evaluator: Pediatric Psychologist
Fee: $1,850
Autism Diagnostic Evaluation for Adults
Age range: >21 years (in some cases, younger individuals may be considered)
Autism Diagnostic Evaluation for Adults are conducted to determine the existence of Autism Spectrum Disorders in suspecting adults. Such evaluations involve a comprehensive review of developmental history, intellectual evaluation, administration of the Autism Diagnostic Observational Scale – 2nd Edition (ADOS-2), and assessment of personality/psychological and adaptive functioning. Information gathered provides diagnostic clarification and guides recommendations for any interventions, accommodations or supports necessary to optimize functioning.
Fee: $2,500
Autism Diagnostic Confirmation to begin Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Services
Age range: 3 – 16 years
Evaluator: Psychologist
This brief evaluation is only for children and teens who have already been diagnosed with autism by a licensed physician (pediatrician, neurologist, psychiatrist, psychologist) and require confirmation of the Autism diagnosis for health insurance purposes to access ABA Services. The diagnostic evaluation includes a review of developmental and social history, as well as administration of the Autism Diagnostic Observational Scale – 2nd Edition (ADOS-2). A brief report is provided with the diagnostic findings.

Developmental and Social Therapies
EMPOWER
Age Range: birth – 5 years
The EMPOWER program at Pediatric Psychology Associates, led by a multidisciplinary team of Licensed Psychologists and Speech Language Pathologist specializing in early childhood development, is a live telehealth (online) parent coaching program to address the developmental needs of young children (under 5 years). This program consists of various modules focusing on areas of development such as communication, socialization, play, adaptive skills, and emotional/behavioral regulation.
Fee: Per Session ranging from $160 to $300
SURF (Social Understanding & Relationship Fundamentals) Groups
Age Range: 6 – 18 years
The SURF group program is primarily based on Michelle Garcia Winner’s Social Thinking? methodology. Though dynamic, naturalistic, play-based social experiences facilitated by experienced therapists, this program helps
- Develop and Improve Self-Monitoring and Self-Regulation Skills
- Develop and Improve Flexibility and Adaptive/Cooperative Behaviors
- Develop Social Understanding, Improve Perspective Taking and Social Skills
- Develop and Improve Pro-social Behaviors, Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution
- Enhance Self-Esteem, Increase Feelings of Competence while Reducing Anxiety
- Foster Successful Peer Relationships
Fee: $720 for 8 Sessions
PEERS® (Program for the Education and Enrichment of Social Skills)
Age Range: 14-18 (Adolescents) & 18-30 (Young Adults)
PEERS® is a caregiver/social coach-assisted evidence-based social skills intervention for motivated adolescents and young adults who are interested in learning ways to help them make and keep friends. This program includes 2 groups that run simultaneously. While the adolescent/young adult group is occurring, the caregiver/social coach group is also attending a group. During each session, the adolescents/young adults are taught important social skills and are given the opportunity to practice these skills during socialization activities.
Fee: $2000 total for 16 sessions (adolescent/young adult group and concurrent caregiver/social coach group)
Individual Social Skill Therapy
Services based on Michelle Garcia Winner’s Social Thinking methodology and on the PEERS® instructional approach can also be provided individually.
