Judith Migoya, PsyD

Dr. Judith Migoya is a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Psychologist and Co-Director at Pediatric Psychology Associates (PPA), where she brings deep expertise in neuropsychological assessment and evidence-based treatment. As a neuropsychologist licensed in both Florida and New York, Dr. Migoya specializes in evaluating brain-based conditions including ADHD, learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, developmental delays, traumatic brain injuries, and other cognitive challenges. Dr. Migoya is also an experienced therapist who works with children and adolescents experiencing behavioral concerns, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), autism, and other neurodevelopmental conditions. Her therapeutic approach is collaborative and family-centered, often involving close coordination with schools and multidisciplinary teams to support the child’s success across settings.

Dr. Migoya earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. She completed her predoctoral internship at UCLA’s Neuropsychiatric Institute and Hospital and went on to complete a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in Neuropsychology at Clinical Psychology Associates in Gainesville, Florida. She has also completed advanced clinical training through the International OCD Foundation’s Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI), the Pediatric BTTI, and the Social Thinking® Intensive Clinical Training Program. She is a certified provider of the PEERS® social skills training program.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Migoya provides supervision to both doctoral-level psychology students and postdoctoral fellows. She is an active member of the International OCD Foundation, the National Academy of Neuropsychology, the American Psychological Association, and the Florida Psychological Association (FPA), where she previously served as President of the Miami-Dade/Monroe Chapter in 2015 and 2016. Dr. Migoya has been recognized with multiple awards for her leadership and contributions to the field of psychology. Her work has been featured in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters, and she has presented on topics related to neuropsychology, behavioral medicine, and pediatric mental health at local and regional conferences. Dr. Migoya offers services both in person (Aventura, Miami Beach and Boca Raton offices) and via telehealth.
